Why do I feel so tired today after doing almost nothing this weekend? Hubby worked his cute hiney off doing manual labor, but me? Not so much.
We officially have post holes dug which means soon we will officially have gate posts in which is an essential step in officially having a gate up so that the HOA will bug off. He looked so cute out there being Mr. Handyman. It was great to see him and my little bro out there working up a sweat together. After finishing our holes, they headed over to Zac's to do some good there. What a great little team they make.
With him so busy building up our castle, the Bug and I took off to my mom's neighborhood for a neighborhood rodeo. We had a blast! Jack rode in the stick pony race, but mostly wanted to be Grandpa Brad's shadow. When it came time for the wheelbarrow race, he didn't even want to be on my team! (sniff sniff) He and Grandpa are good buddies and mostly Jackson wants to wear a cowboy hat and boots because Grandpa has a black cowboy hat just like his.
On Sunday, my little bro was set apart as a member of the High Council in our Stake. Pretty cool. It was a proud moment to see Little Bucky up there taking on a whole new role with a slew of responsibilities.
If his skills as a post hole digger say anything, I know he will be great!
Thanks also, to our cute friends, the Madsens and Petersons for some killer tacos and even better bonding time. We love you guys!
