Okay...it has been awhile, but I have been so stinking busy! Here goes the run down.
Twilight. Ian and Jack had a boys night in while I hung with 40 (or so) of the neighborhood gals. It was crazy! I am so blessed to live by some incredible peeps. We went to dinner and then hit the 12:20 show of Twilight. Dinner was the best part...lots of chatting and laughing. The movie was only okay. Didn't love it.
Toy sale: went well. We have decided to do it again this Saturday. There is some awesome stuff this year. A few people came and stocked up on gifts for Christmas as well as the coming year. I always love the toy sale...it is fun to see what people like to buy.
The Big Game: The U. rocks. 'Nuff said.
Thanksgiving: This past Sunday we tried something new in my fam. We decided to try to get together for Thanksgiving the Sunday before so we all wouldn't have to make the "who do we go with this year" decision. We had the fiesta at my house and it turned out wonderfully. We had a full house with a ton of food and lots of warm memories were made. This Thanksgiving was especially sweet as we have had some pretty big trials come our way this year. I am so thankful for a fantastic family that is supportive and loving. I am also so thankful for a loving Heavenly Father that makes up my shortcomings...which are many. I have a great hubby that seems to have an unending supply of patience and what about that kid of mine. He is a gem. Jack seems to keep us laughing always.
SO here we are on the front end of 5 days off of work and I am in need of a break.

Twilight Dinner Reservations are now made!!
7:30 pm at the Mimi's at South Towne Mall. We should have a room all to ourselves.
Pretty vampires all in a row.
So it takes me about 30 minutes to upload each photo. Is that normal? If so, I don't know if I have the patience, and Schreck may just have to suffer.
Update on the health front: I saw the neurologist this week and I will be taking a few more tests. More to follow. Hopefully the seizure will have been a one time thing, but they upped my meds just in case.
Ladies, a week from tomorrow we will be enjoying Twilight in the wee hours of the night. I am really excited to see the flick, but to be honest, I don't know if I will be able to be up that late. The last time I saw what 12:20am looks like outside my house, I was a much younger gal. I have enjoyed time past midnight in the comfort of my pj's in the "mommy cave" (Jackson speak for the craft room), but not actually in public. Oh wait that is not true...there was the Breaking Dawn release party. Thousands of crazed 30 something ladies (and some boys) waiting for the next edition of Edward (isn't that what we are really reading?) This will be even worse, I fear. But I will be there with a camera in one hand and a mahonkin' huge Diet Coke in the other. Thanks, Stacey and Andria for feeding the addiction! (feeding...get the vampire reference? Oh how witty I am!)
Oh yeah, I have PC catalogs for those who wanted them. If I haven't gotten to you yet, please give me a call. The upped drugs make me a lose a little of the short term memory. Fun times!!

For you, Schreck.

Blake has let me know that the only reason anyone looks at blogs is to see photos. That no one cares what I type as long as there are photos.
So, Blake, here are some for you!
Here is my cute hubby and our little bug. This was back in 2003 and Jack was about 10 months old. they have the same haircut working for them.

Voting is SO cool....
all the cool kids are doin' it. We just got back and I am the proud owner of an "I voted" sticker. I have to confess, I am both surprised and encouraged that a joker like Superdell was actually on the ballot. Surprised because his name actually showed up as Dell "Superdell" Schanze and encouraged because if he can get on the ballot then surely ANY of us can (I am writing you in for mayor next time, Zac Huish!) Anyhow...I love voting. It is our civic responsibility and I haven't missed a year yet. There is still time, so if you haven't...get out there and do it!
For those of you who haven't RSVPd yet..still having the Pampered Chef party. I am excited to have some girl time. It is Thursday at 7 at my place, so I hope to see you all there (except you, Suzanne, I know your feelings about the Pampered Chef!) It will be a great time...I know, once again, that finances are tight, so if you don't need to shop, just come hang out. There will be delish snacks and yummy drinks. I would like to have a count so I know how many to plan for, so please add a comment here or give me a call.
And my husband is very cute.
