Sadie's Obituary

Sadie Brynne Huish
1/3/2003 ~ 6/25/2009

Our sweet Sadie passed away after a 16-month battle with brain cancer - a rare brainstem tumor called a dipg. Sadie Brynne Huish was born on January 3, 2003 in Murray, Utah to Zachory and Tiffany Huish. From an early age she showed such intelligence and obedience. She loved puzzles, drawing, painting, and crafts. She was always quick to ask questions and was always striving to learn more. She enjoyed school and learning to play the violin. She also liked dance and soccer. She was extremely compassionate; she never liked seeing anyone sad, and would do anything to try to make them happy. She had a giant testimony of the gospel, and a great love for Jesus and the Prophet. She was a loyal and dear friend to all around her. She showed such maturity, patience and bravery in her fight, and seemed to have a profound influence on all who followed her battle. She was an amazing big sister to Olivia and Samantha, and considered them to be her best pals. She also had a great love and appreciation for her dear cousins. She was such a beautiful little gal, inside and out. She taught us all so much in her short time here, and has changed the lives of so many. We are so proud of our Sadie. Our hearts are broken, yet we are so thankful she is healed in the arms of the Savior, surrounded in Heaven by loving family, and little pals who have walked the same road. She is survived by her parents and sisters, Eagle Mountain, UT; grandparents, Bob and Arlene Huish, Napa, CA; Brad and Lynnette Rose, Eagle Mountain, UT; and Bob and Brigitte Morley, Midvale, UT; uncles and aunts, Ian and Mackenzie Casey, Eagle Mountain, UT; Kirk and Heather Welch, South Jordan, UT; Jason and Dani Pugmire, West Jordan, UT; Nik Pugmire, Chicago, IL; her loving cousins, and many other wonderful and special family members. Preceded in her passing by her "Opa Steve" (grandpa Steven Pugmire), and some of her great-grandparents. Our most sincere thanks to the staff at Huntsman Cancer Institute Radiation Therapy, Dr. Hassan Yaish and the staff at Primary Childrens Hematology/Oncology, Critical Care Systems, and sweet Maureen and the staff at Rocky Mountain Hospice for providing the best care possible for our little gal. We also thank Make-A-Wish of Utah for their compassion in granting Sadie's wish. A celebration of Sadie's life will take place on Wednesday, July 1, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. at the Eagle Mountain Utah East Stake Center, 4506 East Pony Express Parkway, Eagle Mountain, Utah. Family and friends may call on Tuesday evening June 30, 2009 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Warenski Funeral Home, 1776 North 900 East, American Fork, Utah. Sadie will be laid to rest following her funeral service in the Lehi City Cemetery. For additional details, please refer to www.sadiehuish.blogspot.com

I am SOOOOOO sad that I couldn't be there! My mom told me all about it tonight and it had me in tears! I'm also sorry I've been a slacker of a cousin but I'm going to step that up this year! We definitely need a girl cousing trip :)
Keep in touch and tell your brother I miss and love him!

Love you!
